The script is usually ready within a few minutes — you read it, adjust whatever you like and give your GO. Then the studio takes over: voices, sound effects, music and mixing run automatically, and the draft is typically ready to listen to within a quarter of an hour. You can close the page in between — we keep working. And if it ever takes longer: behind every audio play is a complete studio with countless production and quality steps — voices, sound design, music, multiple checks. You choose between 5, 10, 15 and 20 minutes. The length is a guideline, not a stopwatch — we'd rather produce a little more generously than cut it short.

Yes — the names you enter are untouchable. They appear letter for letter in the story, the audio play and the book. For special pronunciations (e.g. “Gioia” as “Joya”) you can request a pronunciation correction after the first listen.

Your input — names, ideas, wishes — stays yours. The finished production belongs to your account: listening privately, downloading and sharing with family and friends is very much encouraged. For commercial use and selling via the Marketplace we're putting clean legal guardrails in place — details will follow there.

You enter the main character's age, and language, pace and suspense adapt to it — from sleepy-time stories for the littlest ones to crime stories for adults. On shared tiles the age appears in a small circle, so everyone can tell who a work is meant for.

Famous characters like Superman or Aladdin are legally protected — they can't appear in a sold story, and that protects you too. No problem: we invent an original character in the same style, just as exciting and one hundred percent yours. The NAMES you enter are unaffected — a first name is not a trademark.

No — for a fair reason: you listen to the complete draft BEFORE buying, can adjust wording, names and music, and only then approve it. At checkout you tick a box confirming that we start delivering immediately — the legal details are shown at checkout and in the terms. If something breaks technically — corrupt file, failed download — use the feedback button: we always look into that and fix it.

Before buying you can listen to up to five music variants and pick your favourite — free of charge. After purchase a change is still possible and costs CHF 5: only the music is regenerated, the voices stay exactly the same.

No account needed. The code is redeemed at story checkout and covers exactly the package you gifted.

Birthdays, Christmas, get-well wishes for a sick child, bedtime stories, holiday anticipation, the first day of school — or just because. The story picks up the occasion if you mention it in the form.

On request, a picture book is created for your audio play (PDF, from CHF 11.90): fully illustrated pages telling the story, with your characters. You can flip through it on screen while the audio play is running — or print it.

The print option is in the works. Printing is professional — usually in the country of your delivery address or close by, so there are normally no customs fees; where they do apply, we show them before purchase. Planned are softcover (CHF 29.90) and hardcover (CHF 39.90), delivery time approx. 6–10 business days. Until then you get the PDF in print quality — and yes: once printing is live, you can order your picture book as a printed book LATER too, since your PDF stays in your library.

Under “Your books” in the navigation: flip through every book right in the window — even while the audio play is running — and download it as a PDF. On shared pages, family and friends can flip through too.

Almost always a FILTER is active. Above the list you'll find “Favourites”, a language (DE/EN) and a search field — if one of them is switched on, you only see the matching part of your library. The active filter is orange and pulsing; one click switches it off and everything is back. Nothing is ever deleted by itself: your works stay in your account, even after weeks. If something really is missing, contact us via “Feedback & report a bug” — we'll check your account.

Below the player you can show the text: the word being spoken lights up and moves along — for beginning readers to read along, or to follow while correcting.

Yes — the downloaded MP3 file fits onto a Creative-Tonie without conversion (up to 90 minutes). Easiest via the QR code on your shared story page: scan it with your phone, download the file, then transfer it to the Creative-Tonie with the manufacturer's app. Done — your story plays on the box.

Anywhere MP3 plays: phone, tablet, computer, most speakers and car radios. In your library you play everything right in the browser — on the go too.

Yes, as your own file. Spotify plays “Local Files”: switch them on in the desktop settings, choose the folder with your downloaded MP3 and add the audio play to a playlist. On your phone the playlist appears with Spotify Premium once phone and computer have shared the same Wi-Fi and you download it. In Apple Music, drag the file into your library on the computer and sync it to your phone. Your audio play never appears in Spotify's public catalogue — it's your private story with your child's name.

A calm, pure reading of your story — one voice, no sound effects or music. Ideal for falling asleep, or when your child should hear the story “as if read aloud”. You'll find it on your story's project page.

They're already listed as “soon” in your library: own songs as a standalone format are in development — today every audio play already gets its personal theme song.

“Soon” means: we're actively building it, but it's not yet good enough to hand over. We deliberately don't promise dates — better right than fast. As soon as something is ready, it appears under Updates.

Straight via “Feedback & report a bug” (the floating button at the bottom right) — your message reaches us immediately, including the page you were on. We do our very best to give you the best experience and keep improving fabeloo.

Yes — one click gives you a public link (fabeloo.com/h/…) to send to grandparents, godparents and friends: they can listen without an account, with cover, book viewer and read-along. When you share publicly, your work also appears in the Discover gallery and becomes visible and audible to everyone — that's your choice to make.

Yes — every finished story has “Create another episode”: same voices, same theme music, same characters and the same style, but a brand-new adventure. That's how your own series grows.

Under “Drafts” in the navigation: everything not yet fully produced, with status and progress. Finished works move to your library automatically. You can also delete drafts there — permanently, this cannot be undone.

Likes and followers are your author milestones: every level you reach earns a star on your profile — and your highest level unlocks author discounts for future productions, which we're switching on right now. Anyone following you gets notified when you publish a new work — and you get notified when someone likes or follows you.

Yes: every shared story page has “Part 2, please!” — your wish is counted visibly for the author. Your OWN stories you continue directly: “Create another episode” carries over voices, music and characters.

Private is the default: your stories are yours and live only in your library. Only what you actively share becomes public — it gets a link, appears in the Discover gallery and is visible and audible to everyone. In your settings you also decide whether your author profile is suggested to others.

Everyone inventing stories here: in “Discover” you listen to shared works by others, follow authors, like, wish for sequels — and build your name as an author with your own profile, followers and milestones.

Currently German, English and Swiss German (Zurich dialect). You pick the language when creating, and we keep adding more languages and dialects. An existing story in a second language is its own new production; a direct way to order that is coming soon.

That's the plan: on the Marketplace you'll be able to offer your finished works to other users. It's in the works — the navigation already lists it as “soon”. What you can do today: build your author profile, share works publicly and gather followers — whoever has a library and an audience early starts ahead on the Marketplace.
